There's a bit of info on just about everyone, given how rich the lore descriptions are.Īs far as bugs go, the most consistent one was that levels wouldn't load and force me to hard-close the game - which would then close my Steam as well. I think the game's big enough to have a Characters' page, concerning the main characters (I guess Penitent One, Deogracias, Crisanta (who I hear has an expanded role in a comic) and Escribar, the NPC's and the bosses. I'm at the final boss I'll yet see if I can figure out how to go for the true ending yet. The morbid Not!Catholicism of Cvstodia is something that I, coming from a near-uniformly Catholic country with a history of revering martyrdom culture, can relate to and pick apart as absolutely terrible. It's a fun game, even if some of its quirks can throw you in for a loop (like how you need to be perfectly central on the ladder to grab onto it, or how you can't walljump if you got hit) and some essential puzzles for getting the much-needed Relics can be more than a little obscure, but frankly, the aesthetic is what resonates with me the most. ![]()
